At this time, Seon-Jae’s father walks into the police station and recognizes detective Park as the detective who helped investigate his wife’s murder.ĭetective Park soon learns of his wife’s unfortunate car accident and death. Seon-Jae still finds their story ridiculous. Sung-Shik stands by detective Park and also shows an old picture of him.

He has jumped across time into the future by 30 years. Eventually, as he digs deeper, he realizes that the year is 2012. He soon realizes his surroundings look different as he desperately tries to make sense of what is happening. In the exchange of blows, the suspect hammers detective Park with a huge rock right in the head and escapes from his clutches.Įventually, detective Park regains consciousness as he comes out of the tunnel from the other side, trying to wipe out the haze in front of his eyes, barely maintaining balance. Detective Park chases the suspect and tries to stop him. One day, Detective Park stumbles upon the culprit in a tunnel where a victim is found. As the case builds, the detective reaches closer to the suspect. Park is investigating a series of killings, targeting women with strange marks on their ankles. ‘Tunnel’ starts off in the year 1986 and we are introduced to Detective Park Gwang-Ho from the Hwayang police station. Lee Yoo-Young plays Shin Jae-Yi, the only daughter of detective Park. Besides this Yoon has also acted in a few films like ‘Pitch High’ (2011) and ‘Run Off’ (2016). Yoon is known for his roles in television dramas like ‘Joseon Mystery Detective Jeong Yak-Young’ (2009), ‘My Daughter, Geum Sa-Wol’ (2015) and ‘Tale of Fairy’ (2018). Yoon Hyun-Min plays Kim Seon-Jae, who is an elite criminal detective at the Hwayang police station. Choi has starred in many other Korean television dramas like ‘Emergency Couple’ (2014), ‘Pride and Prejudice’ (2014), ‘Devilish Charm’ (2018) and ‘The Last Empress’ (2019).
